Please feed your baby before I arrive, so your baby is nice and sleepy for our session. A warm bath in the morning can help relax your baby's tummy, if gas is an issue. Please ensure your home is nice and warm, so your baby can happily stay asleep, even when not swaddled in many layers.
Cue the music, pop a bottle, go exploring, dance in the desert, get comfortable, do your thang. We’ll provide prompts to help you get comfortable (no need to worry about what to do with your hands), but mostly we’ll just hang out and let the magic happen.
Please don't stress for your home to be perfect for your session. Make sure your main bedroom (where I take most photos) has neutral bed linen on and your bedside tables are cleared. I may include other parts of the home, depending on light and setting. The hallway, front of home, nursery or the living areas. If anything needs to be moved in those areas, please don't stress, I can do that on the day if needed. I will include some of your favourite swaddles or blankets in your session, please have them ready when I arrive.

I highly recommend to wear something that makes you feel like yourself. Light natural colours such as white, cream, mustard, olive and brown work great in photographs. Soft flowy tops and dresses work best. Please stay away from dark or vibrant colours such as pink, red or black. Dad's are welcome to wear a shirt if its not too business looking, otherwise a t-shirt or polo is perfect.
For babies I recommend a simple onesie without zip. Brands like Jamie Kay and pure baby have plain simple onesie's with a tight fit, perfect for the session. Please stay away from anything bulky or too grown up looking. Even a simple white singlet is perfect.
