Let's capture the early days of your new baby, so you can look back and remember the big feelings as well as the little details. The way you rocked your baby to sleep, the little toes and hands with the flaky skin, the big yawns and tiny stretches and most importantly the wonderful connection you and with your baby. I have a gentle and baby-led approach, no awkward poses or cheesy smiles. Just sit back and let me photograph this special time for you.
As an in-home newborn photographer it's important to me to capture real memories for you. Your house doesn't need to be perfect, so please don't stress! Once I arrive, I will have a look around to see what works best. I am yet to find a home I couldn't find a gorgeous pocket of light. I love to capture images the main bedroom, the nursery, living room or front of your house.

How to prepare
My goal is to make the experience of your Melbourne newborn session as stress-free and relaxed as possible. My workflow is fully baby-led. There is no pressure to have a sleepy baby or perfectly behaved toddler. We'll stop for feeds and cuddles when needed. Newborn sessions can take anywhere from 1-3 hours, depending on how your baby is going. I stay as long as I need to, to make sure I have a beautiful set of images that I know you will love and treasure.

An in-home newborn photography experience is stress free and captures your baby's first moments as a family in the comfort of your own home, where we seamlessly blend the beauty of your little one and your love for each other with the warmth and familiarity of your home. I am available to travel anywhere in and around Melbourne, the south-eastern suburbs, the Dandenong Ranges and beyond.
Where should I have my newborn photos?
I recommend securing your session while you are still pregnant. I only take on 8 bookings per month and tend to book up 2-3 months in ahead, so please ensure to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Newborn sessions are typically done in the first 3 weeks of life, however natural lifestyle photos can be taken at any age.
when should we book our session?
In-home newborn lifestyle sessions include the full family. Pets are more than welcome to join in as well. These sessions are designed to capture your family in that moment in time when you welcome your new baby to the family. These sessions do not include grandparents or extended family members.
Who can be in the photos?
Absolutely! I love, love, love prints! It makes such a difference having your images printed on your walls. You will have access to my professional print lab within your online gallery. I offer loose prints, frames, albums and more. So there is no excuse to let your photos collect dust on your hard drive.
Can I order print products?
I recommend picking something that makes you feel beautiful and feels like YOU. Choosing the right out fit for your session is important and I am here to help. For your baby I recommend a neutral cotton or knitted onesie. You can check my what to wear guide here. I am always happy to talk you through any questions you might have.
What should we wear??
Trust me, you don't need to have the perfect home to have beautiful photos. I am yet to walk into a home where I couldn't find a nice spot to photograph a family. Neutral coloured bed linen and window light is all I need to create some magic for your family.
